What a powerful picture. We all know how it feels to say good bye. It's hard and so emotional and this picture captures all that and so much more. We never want to let the person go that we are saying good bye to. Here a child holds onto a friend and knows its time. Its shown in such a raw and compelling way. Really why do we say GOOD bye anyway? Is there such a thing?

The colors and saturation make this all the more pulling on the heart strings. The framing is so natural feeling. Everthing from the details to the freckles to the birds feathers are just stunning. I get teary everytime I look at this image.

Beautiful. It really caught a tender moment. I've raised a number of birds myself and had to say goodbye to so many. I really know how this feels.

I love this, such a sweet scene. It shows the ending of a fragile friendship, and the maturity of a young child which is seldom depicted with such grace. Great capture :heart:
